Our story begins when the Duigan and Robertson families meet for lunch at the Mia Mia Memorial Hall with guest aeromodellers and scientists from both Monash University and Aerosonde Robotic Aircraft Co.

As a young boy Sir Thomas was lodged at 'Spring Plains' to improve his health after an illness. During his stay (1919) he helped John Dennis Duigan's father Reginald prepare the 1910 Biplane for presentation to the Museum of Victoria
