Australasian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference, ATNAC 2007

Second Call for papers
Australasian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference, ATNAC 2007
2-5 December 2007, in Christchurch, New Zealand

"Next Generation Networks: enabling closer international cooperation"

Conference website: http://atnac2007.massey.ac.nz

Sponsors: IEEE (pending)
ATNAC 2007 is a major Australasian conference bringing together telecommunications research and development staff from universities and industrial research laboratories from the region. This year's event promises to be an exciting one as we cross the Tasman Sea to Christchurch in New Zealand, for the first time in the history of this conference. Members of the ATNAC Organising Committee include representatives from New Zealand and Australia's leading R&D institutions. ATNAC 2007 will further expand on the traditions of previous ATNAC conferences by bringing together telecommunication researchers and students with equipment providers, user groups, regulators and infrastructure planners. ATNAC 2007 will provide attendees with the latest developments in telecommunication networks and applications through keynote speakers in plenary sessions, hot seat topic interactive sessions, panel discussions, parallel technical sessions, poster presentations and tutorials, set in a picturesque park environment of Christchurch, known as the garden city of New Zealand.
After the conference why not enjoy a thrilling sightseeing tour through the wonders of New Zealand's spectacular scenery and experience its unique culture at the beginning of summer ?

Key themes of ATNAC 2007 are:
- Broadband delivery and evolution
- Wireless network research and applications

Please refer to http://atnac2007.massey.ac.nz/Call_for_Papers.htm for the full scope of research areas of this conference.

The ATNAC 2007 Organising Committee is seeking both academic and industry papers that advance research in the key themes or report on the development and implementation of these technologies in the Australasian region and around the world.
