Designs are based on standard fan laws as applied to hovercraft requiements, focusing on the principle that air volume is proportional to tip speed (not blade span).
On Hovercraft which currently use this fan, performance increases of up to 200% is noted. As one user said, "the increase in performance has to be experienced to be believed."
Maxi-Lift fans are designed to meet the flow, pressure, duct size and power available of your particular hovercraft. This is why they work so much better than air conditioning fans.
