CORNER INLET FISHERIES HABITAT ASSOCIATION
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
We the Executive Committee of the Corner Inlet Fisheries Habitat Association wholeheartedly support the Victorian Rural Robotics Facility proposal to establish itself at Port Welshpool. As we feel that initiatives such as this are vital to keep rural economics on track. Also as an environmentally driven professional fishers organization we believe that non-industrial development such as the V.R.R.F. proposal is perfect for this area: We would have no hesitation in offering our services: ie boats and expertise where practical to assist in the success of this project.
Yours Sincerely
J.D. Pinzone. Executive Chairman Phone/fax:03-56881051

The use of autonomous, around the clock underwater robotic devices to monitor, detect and report the existance of such pollutants would seem a perfect solution to this problem. Recent developments include the ability of such devices to regularly 'dock' to both recharge their batteries and download data aquired on their 'patrols' For more on Joe Pinzone see The Money Fish : ABC Documentaries
